Drains and sewer lines
Is it a drain clog or a sewer line problem?
If one fixture drains slowly, the clog is usually in that fixture’s drain. If several drains back up at once, or water comes up through a floor drain when the washer runs or a toilet flushes, the main sewer line is the likely problem. Elite Home Services clears both.
Signs of a drain problem include slow drains, gurgling sounds, water backing up into tubs or floor drains, and sewer smells. Grease, hair, wipes and tree roots are common causes.
A backup in the basement is worth a call right away. The longer water sits, the more it damages floors, walls and anything stored nearby.
